Water Treatment
Water that smells, tastes off, or leaves you unsure? Teal tests it first, then recommends the treatment that actually fits.
Why Teal Plumbing
If your water smells off, tastes funny, or you're just not sure it's safe to drink, the first step is knowing what's actually in it. Teal Plumbing starts by testing your water, then recommends the treatment that fits what the test shows, not a one-size-fits-all package.
Options range from water softeners and whole-house filters to reverse osmosis under the sink, injection systems for odor, and UV light for bacteria. Already have a system acting up? Andrew looks at what can be saved before talking replacement, and will call the manufacturer to track down parts.
Many homes here run on private wells drawing from the shallow Columbia Aquifer beneath the Delmarva Peninsula, and on a well, testing and treating your water is up to you, not the town. You end up with water you're glad to drink, cook with, and shower in.
Water Treatment
Before anyone sells you a system, you should know what's actually in your water. Andrew tests it, goes over the results with you in plain terms, and looks at any treatment equipment you already have. If an existing system is one he doesn't work on, he'll tell you up front instead of guessing.
Hard water shows up as white crust on faucets, spots on your dishes, and scale that shortens the life of your water heater. A softener removes the minerals behind it, and Teal installs one only after a test shows your water actually needs it.
Treating water where it enters your home means every shower, faucet, and appliance gets the same clean supply, not just the kitchen tap. Teal installs whole-house filters for sediment, taste, and odor, chosen from what your water test shows rather than a standard package.
A reverse osmosis system tucks under your kitchen sink, pushes water through a fine membrane, and sends it to its own small faucet for drinking and cooking. It's one of the most thorough ways to treat the water you actually drink, without filtering every gallon that goes to the laundry or the lawn. Teal installs the system and its faucet as one job.
UV light kills bacteria in your water without adding chemicals, but it only works when the water passing the lamp is clear, so a sediment filter usually goes in ahead of it. Teal installs both as one system, a strong fit for a well where testing has turned up bacteria.
Well water that smells like rotten eggs or tastes like metal makes you dread filling a glass. Teal treats odor at the source with injection systems and finishes with taste and odor filters. Andrew matches the fix to what your test shows, so you aren't stacking up equipment that misses your actual problem.

Don't just take our word for it. Here's what Delmarva homeowners and businesses say about Teal Plumbing.
I called Teal Plumbing and spoke with Andrew, the owner and a licensed master plumber. I asked him to provide an estimate, and he came by the next day to assess the work. He explained what was needed, offered a very reasonable price, and answered all my questions patiently and thoroughly. Andrew returned the following day and did an outstanding job on the repairs. I highly recommend Teal Plumbing for any plumbing needs.
Andrew replaced my water heater and did an A++ job ! It wasn't an ordinary replacement, it was under my house in a partial basement. He had to remove the door to get the old one out and the new one in. He did an amazing job ! The price he gave me was what he charged me. No extras ! He came when he said he would. He cleaned up perfectly. I highly recommend him for any of your plumbing needs !
My toilet was leaking. I called Teal Plumbing, who was recommended on the Salisbury, MD Facebook group. They responded quickly. He pulled the toilet, removed the damaged laminate flooring, replaced the wax seal and got it seated correctly, and put the toilet back. He cleaned the whole area and took the damaged flooring with him to dispose of it. I am thrilled that everything was taken care of and I have my bathroom back. I highly recommend Teal Plumbing! Thank you Teal Plumbing!!!
