For new toilets, Andrew installs American Standard and Toto, brands he chooses because cheaper models wear out after a few years of flushing. For repairs, he fixes the actual problem, whether that's a worn part inside the tank, a failed wax seal, or damaged flooring around the base.
A drip at the spout or a puddle in the cabinet under the sink is a small problem until it isn't. Teal repairs and replaces kitchen, bathroom, and laundry tub faucets and sinks, and Moen and Delta are Andrew's go-to brands for new fixtures. Frost-free spigots aren't freeze-proof, and they're often the first thing to burst when a house loses heat. When Teal repairs or replaces an outdoor spigot, Andrew usually adds a shutoff valve inside, because sooner or later you'll want to turn that spigot off for winter.
Andrew passed the 40-hour ASSE backflow certification and can test in both Maryland and Delaware, which many testers can't. That means one plumber can test and certify your backflow device on either side of the state line. Testing season picks up every spring.
Andrew learned boilers from old-school plumbers right as many in the trade stopped working on them, so you get someone who understands how your system actually works. Teal installs vanities, faucets, rain shower heads, handheld showers, and shower rails, drills carefully, and caulks cleanly. One customer had all of that done in a single bathroom, through tile that was hard to drill, without a single cracked piece.
